I’m a psychotherapist, consultant, professor and author. What a rich and humbling experience this has been! In supporting someone’s journey, I’ve absorbed a lot about living deliciously. You are invited to co-create with me a sense of safety for your voice to be fully honored. My practice is engaging individuals in cultivating or reconnecting with their agency to thrive, especially following burnout. Cultural and historical context are a priority, such that a more nuanced story helps in creating a new consciousness to move beyond surviving.
So, what’s living deliciously? Freedom to thrive! It’s learning about and appreciating our strengths and the strengths of others. It's in living a life powered by meaning that supports us through challenging times and energizes us in moments of bliss...This can engage us in coming together for the benefit of our personal growth and the communities we belong to.

In the course of several years of publishing monthly newsletters, a few themes have emerged to reflect on “juicing” life for all it’s worth, even during moments of crisis. Frequently, the wording would make some sort of reference to the culinary world, in order to illustrate certain ideas. This is how “Living Deliciously” was born. May this compilation of newsletters contribute to your reflections about how to create the conditions for joyful, delicious living! The suggestion is that the ingredients explored in this writing are “like water for soup”, essential to experience life’s diverse flavors. Yes, in life there will be moments that are hardly palatable. However, being intentional about extracting the “pulp” or lessons available prepares us to move through this journey fine tuning our ability to notice subtleties meant to deepen our insights. Much like a sommelier is highly trained to detect “flavor notes” in a glass of wine and envision succulent food pairings, applying our deeper insights leads us to more and/or better informed choices. Here’s wishing you a delicious life!
The purpose of creating "From Burnout to Bliss" was to invite us all to pause and identify the ways in which we may be unknowingly sabotaging our sense of aliveness. We can start with awesome habits of self-care and, gradually, lose sight of them and feel drowned by responsibilities. Drudgery can surely infect the quality of all relationships and the way we experience what we referred to as our life's work. This book provides a platform to examine mindsets, transforming choices, and creating the conditions to thrive in all areas of our lives. The clever ways our bodies "tell us" that something in our hearts clamors for attention is a topic to compound the insights on how burnout occurs. Reflections on shared stories about burnout and emerging triumphantly from it, mine included, are part of the journey of this book. Hopefully, this writing will serve you to go deeply into finding the root of such pain and promote the process of post-burnout growth.
